These sharpening plates are awesome. I've had my grinder for more than 10 years and have thought about sharpening the plates and knives, but didn't know how. When I learned of these plates offered by The Sausage Maker I immediately ordered them.
I can tell, this was money well spent! Made a big difference in the way my grinder functioned. I ran 40 pounds of venison and pork through my number 22 grinder and had nothing attached togrinder and had nothing attached to the plates and knives when I finished. I used the small 1/8 inch plate to run venison, pork and fat. All went through without one hitch. Made me a real believer.
I’ve used this stuffer for 7 years now averaging 250lbs per year and haven’t had an issue. Making everything from snack sticks to summer sausage this manual machine does not disappoint. Can’t wait to try the patty maker attachment with the lock ring adapter.
