Our Mini Wooden Sauerkraut Stomper is a traditional style sauerkraut stomper. Unlike some of the other stompers out there, this one's handmade in Slovenia from sustainable Beechwood collected from responsibly managed European forests. Made by three generations of woodworkers handcrafting a quality item.
Whether you have a smaller fermenting crock, or use Mason Jars (regular or widemouth) the 2" head on the compact stomper fits perfectly inside to put the hurting on sauerkraut, beets, pickles and more. If you've got a larger crock, we suggest the standard size for extra leverage and stomping power.
Material
The Beechwood has been left completely natural. For extended life and easier cleanup, just treat the stomper with flaxseed oil or any cutting board conditioner before the first use. Handwash recommended.
