While I have not had the chance to use it yet, the Briner is exactly what I was expecting it to be…. The locking “hubs” go well down the base, so it should fit any brining chore for me.

Great concept. Would like to see more sturdy lid, but overall very useful product with many food brining applications.

The Briners concept is simple but it is, genius. It is well designed, large capacity, easy to use, and works as it should.

Great product, going to order the Briner Jr. next!

works WONDERFUL!! I did have a problem with the recipe for pastrami. I used Great Sausage Recipes p.166 copyright 1976 called for 1 1/4. lbs of salt too salty ,ruined the meat! The recipe p.311 copyright 1984 calls for 8oz. of salt. I’ll use that next time. Any comments?

This is the best brine container I have ever owned and that has been many ha! ha! No more deciding what I’m going to use for a brining vessel. The original Briner is my go to from here on out. Thank’s TSM.

The Briner is a quality product. Previously purchased the Briner Jr. and have been very pleased. I now wish to brine larger batches and am confident that this will meet and exceed my expectations!

Perfect for brining corn beef. Decent thickness in plastic, easy to clean. Hold down plate is perfect for brining brisket. Would work for any wet brine BBQ. Sure beats covering with towels and weights. Will be ordering more for “pickling” my rabbit skins as well.

The briner that I purchased is just 1 of two that I need. But spring is here and my first task is 20 lbs of bacon followed by Canadan bacon. Some meat lugs are next and some spices. Great product, to be able to lock the product below the brine. 2 briners are in order. I’ll be back guys.

The Briner works great. It keeps every piece in the brine with nothing floating and drying out. It could be a little larger, but it does fit in my fridg.

Ok Excellent product , This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, I love the way the locking lid can be fixed to almost any position needed for different pieces of meat, also fits in my fridge perfectly, I may order a couple of more in the near future !!! Thanks for a great product, Kyle.

Haven’t used it yet, but upon inspection, looks to be a great way to brine for the casual home consumer. Make sure you have a large fridge. Looking forward to my first turkey brine and then smoke it. Gotta be good!

Perfect solution to leaking zip type plastic bags, as they always seemed to leak no mater how hard I tried to seal them up. Works great for pork butts, chicken, loins, hams, and the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and buy the large one.

nice size and with the inner shelves and slotted inner hold down keeps meat covered a lot better than the plate and weight I used before

Orginally had some issues. They were taken care of relatively soon, so I can’t say that I was impressed with the service i received. However they did make things right so they deserve another shot!
Thanks

These are very cool! I have wanted something like this and tried to work my brain on how to do it, alas someone else has created a container and weight which is much better than my ideas.
I am very excited to make brined chickens and turkeys in this container.

Worked as advertized, no more paper towels and weights.

Although I haven’t used it yet, the product looks sturdy and functional. I especially like the design of the bucket which fits in my fridge with just one shelf removed.

This is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to brine a large bird, or a number of smaller ones. It’s an innovative, quality made briner.
Jonathan Sharp (verified owner) –
Works great, easy to use, easy to clean.
Stan Peterson (verified owner) –
Simple, yet it functions exactly as described.
Getting the air out of and tying off garbage bags and using weights in a pail worked too, but this is so much easier and can be turned and viewed with ease also. No regrets – great tool!

I used to use a weight to keep a turkey submerged in the brine. No more. The Briner is the ticket.

if you plan on Brining your meat to perfection than this is your must have! We followed the recipe that came with it up to 25 lbs turkey and it turned out to be the best tasting turkey ever!!! We baked it afterwards! Due to our briner size, we had to rearrange the fridge shelves and keep in mind that it is heavy so muscle power will be needed to place it in and out of the fridge! Tip: place it on the floor to pour brine and to pick up easier!
The only drawback is the plastic plate that twists to keep the food submerged is too thin. Worked fine but we think it might be better if it was made out of thicker plastic!
We plan on brining brisket next and of course I wanted to make Sauerkraut next only waiting for hubby to allow me to use it or for it to be available!

Perfect idea, wish it was a little bigger around.

I see from some of the other reviews that in dealing w/ the hassle w/ bags, ice, fridge space, weights, and the like, it seems I am not alone in feeling like “please let this work ..”. It worked like a CHAMP! Reduced the amount of brine needed, fit perfectly in an igloo icecube(tm) cooler w/ 4x1lb bags of ice, and made cleanup 100x easier. Because it fits in cooler, was able to keep Brine temp over 36hrs at 34deg. We did smaller bird (18lb) this year 🙁 normally do 22-24lb. 18 lb bird fit with some room, but 22-24 lb bird may be cutting it close if whole. PROS: Better control over environment, hugely efficient, no worries about any bag leaks, pops, seam rips, less brine required, ease of use. CONS: ….. I got only 1 Briner. I will be using this a lot. May even gift a couple to my other BBQ-on-the-brain friends. So far, this is on track to be one of the best tools and investment ever.

Shopping and purchasing experience above and beyond the competition. I purchased a large briner for a Christmas present for my cousin. They had already started the brining process for a fresh ham using a large pot at their house. The briner arrived at their house within 2 days of my order. Once they opened the box, cleaned out the briner, everything was poured over to it to finish their ham. They were so happy with the product and that ham turned out fantastic.

Product arrived quickly and was “as advertised”. Looking forward to using it.

I bought this because my daughter and son-in-law said theyâd give us a freshly butchered turkey from a friends farm. I liked the concept of the bucket and figured it will work for brining many different things. My daughter brought the turkey over in a cooler. It weighed 25lbs. You might be able to get a 26 pounder in there but Iâd say 25 pounds is the limit but it does fit. Itâs in the fridge right now brine soaking away so I can start smoking it this weekend. If you want to brine meats for smoking, this brining bucket is for you. With all the different levels of notches, you can brine anything up to a 25lb. turkey or ham.

Great product. It got here just in time to do a 24 hour brine on a 24 pound turkey.
