Got here in July, way before the apples will be ready from the trees so I shredded a couple of store bought apples. Machine functions well enough. I’ll have to be patient as it will only fit a couple, three apples at a time.
I did call and email customer service and didn’t receive a reply as of yet. I had questions about the crusher and the press and still do. I want to do business with this company because the first thing I bought (the sausage stuffer is superior); perhaps, I shouldn’t have bought an apple implement from a company with sausage in the name.

Worked ok, it was my first time. Doesn’t mount solid enough on the press, needed 2 people, one to help hold it in place, and 1 to turn the handle. Worked a little better once we remounted the press to metal. Will take whole apples, but probably need to consider running them through twice. The pieces were still pretty big.

Easy enough for one person to use! The crusher chopped my varied size apples into perfect size to get the maximum pressing for cider. Easy to use and easy to clean.
