Our Salami Kit comes with everything you need to make salami at home. Great when smoked, or you can add the liquid smoke and cook it in the oven. Makes 25 Lbs.
Kit consists of:
- Salami Seasoning
- Soy Protein Concentrate
- 5 Clear Fibrous Casings: 76 mm (3″ x 24″)
- Hog Rings and Pliers
- Insta-Cure No. 1
- Hickory Liquid Smoke
- Sausage Pricker
Fibrous Casings
A fibrous casing generally used for making a salami or a summer sausage. The fiber in these casings runs lengthwise which makes them strong so they can be stuffed tighter without breaking. They smoke just as brown as a natural casing. No need to be refrigerated, these casings are shelf stable due to being plant based. Soak 10-30 minutes in tap water before using. Not edible, peel off before eating.

I make a 25 pound run of salami every year and this kit has everything you need minus the grinder, venison and smoker. This year I ordered some hi melt temp cheese to add to the Salami. The Sausage Maker sells quality and that’s why I keep buying every year.

My only regret after using this kit is that after I sliced up a 5 pounder, I left it in the fridge and my kids got to it. I only got one sandwich, but it was delicious!!!
