Description

Polska Kielbasa, translated means simply Polish Sausage. This seasoning is based on a traditional recipe that will give your sausage that taste you have come to know as Polish Kielbasa!

  • Stuff into a 35-38 mm hog or collagen casing
  • Recipe on package, makes 50lbs.
  • When smoking, use Insta Cure No. 1 and Soy Protein Concentrate
  • Insta Cure No. 1, Soy Protein Concentrate and casings sold separately
  • Soybean oil used as a mixing aid.

    This seasoning is everything the description says and than some. I always had a local butcher make my venison kielbasa, but this year decided to try and make my own. Followed guide lines on container, it was very easy. My sausage came out better than I have been paying some one else to make.

    Thus seasoning is so good I had to buy a larger tub of it. Sad to say I like the shop style so use a little more fat content and I really need to dial my smoker in to stop the end product from looking too blackened. Nice even when not smoked.

    Have tried many of the seasonings but the first for this one. Great authentic flavor and not overpowering

    I have used this seasoning in the past with excellent results. I did add more garlic to my batch as we like the additional garlic flavor. I have Polish American friends to claim that the flavor reminds them of the Kielbasa in Poland.

    Try this mix. If you love kielbasa, you will be very pleased. It is, by far, the best I’ve ever had.

    The turn around for the order was too long–it took 7 days for the order to ship. Shipping is way to expensive. USPS flat rate boxes are 1/2 the price!
    The product ordered is fantastic, it just takes too long and is too expensive to get it. 5 stars for the product, 2 stars for service.

    You can email us at customerservice@sausagemaker.com and tell us which sausage you're making and I can send you the recipe and you can make it from scratch. Most of our seasonings are blended with soybean oil and they're all mixed in the same mixer.

    A I use Carrot Fiber Binder instead of soy protein. You can purchase it from Sausage Maker.
    A Instead of the Soy Protein I use Dry Milk. Its in a powder and you use the same amount that you would use of the soy. You can find it in most any grocery store. It's in a powder form.

    You would use 1 - 2 cups SOY PROTEIN per 10 lbs meat, and 0.25% INSTACURE #1 or 1 tsp per 5 lbs of meat.
