    First time sawdust user here I have seen online that the side does hasta be dampened and then shipped in a cone in the Bowl what is the proper way to use sawdust in your smokers? I don’t wanna mess anything up and also the sawdust have to be refilled during the smoke or is one bowl enough doing ribs and all the classic barbecue meats

    For smoking sausages, I always use dry sawdust. For smoking ribs, I will moisten a bit and really pack it into the tray. The smoke can be intense, so maybe only one tray should be enough smoke flavor, but that is up to you.
