I have used double cut crushed red pepper from another source. But they are currently out of stock. I bought the one from this company, I tried it on the food that I usually use it with, And I am not impressed.
It is not bad, but the play where is not as strong as what I am used to.

Regular pepper flakes/seeds can create “hot spots” in a dish. One bite has little/no heat and the next bite has a large seed/flake with too much heat for me. Went online to see if there was a finer grind and found this. Have only used a couple of times since is a recent purchase, but so far have not experienced that “hot spot” contrast. Seems to be more of an even warm the way I have used. I like to have a heat element in recipes, but subtle. So far so good for this Crushed, Double Cut Red Pepper.
