I bought these with the intention of making Jalapeno & Cheese Summer Sausage and it came out perfect. I used 6lbs of deer w/ 4lbs of wild hog; 1lb of high temperature cheese; 1oz of these dried jalapenos. The end result is a delicious sausage w/ a good jalapeno taste that is not over powering.

Did not like that the seeds were left in the diced jalapeño , previous purchases elsewhere didn’t include the seeds which can bitter and hot

Mixed these with my hi temp cheddar cheese in my snack sticks and boy did they ever come out good. I will use also in my summer sausage for a little of kick plus the flavor. Nothing I have bought from The Sausage Maker has disappointed me. They have the best prices plus best quality.
