Bratwurst Seasoning 4oz is made from nutmeg, salt, pepper, dextrose, and other spices.

The seasoning is mixed without the chemical use of silicone dioxide, an anticaking agent. If the seasoning cakes up, it is not spoiled. Shake the container or crush it with your hand to loosen it.

Because the Bratwurst Seasoning 4oz comes pre-blended, it saves you the time and effort of mixing the ingredients themselves. No additional salt is needed. Store in a cool dry space.

10 lbs. Recipe

  • 10 lbs. Pork Butts
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 Pint Fresh Milk
  • 10 oz. Soy Protein Concentrate (2 Cups) Do not pack into cup
  • 4 oz. Bratwurst Seasoning

Grind all the meat through a 3/8″ grinder plate. Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly into the meat until evenly distributed. Bratwurst sausage may be stuffed into a 32 – 35 mm hog casing. Freeze any sausage that will not be eaten immediately.

Allergens: Soybean oil is used as a mixing aid.

*Casing capacity depends on meat/fill density, size/lengths of links or loops, and how tightly casings are being filled.

    I have to watch my fat intake, so I was very much interested in making my own lean sausage. Store-bought turkey or chicken brats are usually over or under seasoned and dry. I bought a meat grinder and was looking for a good seasoning mix when I found the Sausage Maker. I ground 10 lbs of pork loin and added the seasoning mix, followed the recipe and went straight into a hot skillet as patties. The sausage was juicy, delicious, and authentic bratwurst. We loved it.
