This casing is made for use with dry-cured sausages in particular as it contains a protein coating on the inside that gives them the ability to to the meat as it is drying. No need to be refrigerated, these casings are shelf stable due to being plant based. Soak 10-30 minutes in tap water before using. Not edible, peel off before eating.
