Often used for Sopressata, Summer Sausages, Liverwurst, Bologna, and cooked or dry cured Salamis. Packed in purified salt. Flush with tap water before using. Not edible. Salted casings have a very long shelf life when stored properly. When refrigerated, packed liberally in purified salt, they have an indefinite shelf life. Un-refrigerated, these salted casings quickly begin to give off a strong odor even though they are not spoiled. Put them back under refrigeration and this odor for the most part subsides.

    This was my first use of beef middles–past experience was only with hog casings. These are thicker, but easier to untangle and rinse out. Also, being thicker they did not burst out as sometimes happens with smaller and thinner casings.

    You really need to work on your Website and list the tracking number when it ships and also email it out.
