The stainless steel frame securely locks the stainless steel meat cylinder into place and reduces movement of the cylinder during operation. The re-designed frame adds to the stuffers’ over-all stability and perfectly aligns the piston inside the cylinder to reduce O-ring friction. Especially hardened resin gears are mounted on a double threaded steel rod for smooth, seamless operation and exceptional control over output of meat into casings. The 5 Lb. stuffer’s frame and base are made of 304 food grade stainless steel, meant for safe sanitary meat processing. Base is easily mountable to most surfaces.

I paid extra for “Made in America” and I believe it is worth it. This seems to be a very well made and heavy duty stuffer. The only thing that I cannot see is the gear train because it is enclosed. It does work well though.

I have used the stuffer twice pumping aprox. 23lb of beef and pork through it. It functions well, the pork seemed to stuff easier than the beef, both ground with the same plate 10mm and same stuffing tube 7/8″ od using 32-35 natural casings. Even with the piston o-ring lubricated well it can be pretty stiff to lower or raise, the stuffer definitely needs to be clamped or bolted down, that helps a lot. I’m assuming the pork fat was probably the reason it stuffed better. On a side note, it arrived slightly damaged due to improper packing, which i repaired, no time to return or i would have. Overall I’m satisfied and would recommend, it makes a better quality of stuffed sausage.

I received my 5 LB sausage maker last week and i love it. used it already and it performed well. Love that it is american made and all stainless steel. i only had one issue. the holder for the pin poker would not line up with the holes so i cant screw it it. Thanks

Used it for the first time. Made stuffing a breeze. Make sure you have food grade grease as it is needed to lubricate parts. The instruction manual could have had a little more detail.

The first stuffer failed shortly after I started using it. However, TSM reached out and made it right. The first casing worked great, follow-on ones not so much, so I can’t really rate the product. I can, however, rate the company as 5-star. Big fan, and I imagine the failure was an anomaly, but TSM is fixing the problem.

This is the best small stuffer you can buy, very good quality. butcher for over 50 years making sausage. keep your meat very very cold, when grinding and stuffing,doing that you’ll have no problems. best of luck. Tom C
