Description
These casings are Pre-tied on one end for your convenience, just soak, stuff, clip one end and hang! A fibrous casing generally used for making a pepperoni size sausage. The fiber in these casings runs lengthwise which makes them strong so they can be stuffed tighter without breaking. They smoke just as brown as a natural casing. No need to be refrigerated, these casings are shelf stable due to being plant based. Soak 10-30 minutes in tap water before using. Not edible, peel off before eating.

The casing worked great on the first batch of bologna. The casing is smaller than I anticipated. The other bologna kits I’ve had said 1 1/2″ and was much bigger than this was. I’ll try a different size next time. Would be good for Pepperoni like description said.

Product is great as usual. On the other hand, receiving the product in a timely manner was not so good. I was informed that the company is very busy and it is taking longer to ship. Kinda sounds like they need more employees. If issue continues, I will be shopping elsewhere.
