Firstly I have to comment on how many of these reviews of these casings are by people who haven’t used them yet!!! Why would you or how can you possibly review the quality of a product you haven’t used yet????? Baffling. On the other hand I’ve run off 60 lbs. of snack sticks with these casings and can tell you they are some of the best I’ve used, and I have used many different casings of this type from many different suppliers!! I pack these tight with very few to no blow outs and the yield is right on, you’ll easily get at least 30 lbs from 1 pack. They have good smoke penetration and what I really like is the super red color they turn on your finished product!! Other mahogany casings pretty much stay that opaque mahogany color but these have a nice semi transparency to them and like I said the red color they give your sticks is outstanding!!!!!
