I like these bags for meat that won’t be in the freezer for too long (less than 6 months has been safe). The 2 lb bags full tend to hold close to 3 lbs of ground beef when I fill them with the stuffer. Makes packing meat go faster with less handling at a much lower cost than using vacuum bags. If the meat will be in the freezer for more than 6 months I would use vacuum bags.
