Plastic Sausage Casings

Here at the Sausage Maker, we offer a comprehensive selection of sausage casings, including natural casings, cellulose casings, collagen casings, fibrous casings and, as you'll find in this section, the plastic sausage casing. The plastic meat casing (or smokable plastic sausage casing) comes in either a curved or a round shape. Both consist of two layers of nylon, which makes them especially durable, facilitates easy stuffing and minimizes the tendency other casings have to burst.

Curved casings come in either a 26mm (1") diameter or 32mm (1-1/4") diameter. They come in packages of four strands each, each strand measuring 41' for a total of 164' of casing per pack. This is enough for making approximately 40 pounds of sausage. The round casings are 43mm (1-3/4") in diameter and 18" in length. They're packaged 20 casings per bundle and are ideal for making emulsified round sausages such as bologna or kiszka.
