Description
 

24" long and approximately 2-3/8" when stuffed. This casing is made for use with dry-cured sausages in particular as it contains a protein coating on the inside that gives them the ability to cling to the meat as it is drying. Soak 10-30 minutes in tap water before using. Not edible. Stuffing capacity: approx. 2 1/2 lbs.

These casings are great, and transferred the smoke well when I cold smoked a Mettwurst.  However, I should have used the non protein lined casings for such a sausage.  I've played hell trying to get them to separate from the meat!  As advertised, they do a really good job.
