Large Diameter Curved Casings. Traditionally used to make Liver Sausage, Ring Bologna, and Braunshweiger type sausage recipes. Also used for the production of Chitterlings. By its very nature they have a strong odor and should be rinsed well before using. When refrigerated, packed liberally in purified salt, they have an indefinite shelf life. Un-refrigerated, these salted casings quickly begin to give off a strong odor even though they are not spoiled. Put them back under refrigeration and this odor for the most part subsides. Packed 5 pieces (7 feet each) per pack.
Approximately 2 1/4" (55-60mm) when stuffed
