A great alternative for anyone that enjoys ground jerky but doesn't like the jerky gun style of forming ground meat for jerky. All you need is some plastic wrap and a rolling pin (not included). I have used the mold numerous times and found it to work well. The molded meat dries quicker, more uniformed in size, it takes about a pound and a half to fill the mold. Clean up is a breeze, I wished they would have used the back side for another mold .to create a chip like jerky. I prefer it over the jerky canon,cost is less and easier to use.

I used a pork breakfast sausage receipe and use 100% ground venison. It came out great! Tastes just like pork sausage. Get small zip lock snack bags and put a bar or two in each. I pull one out of the freezer each morning and its a great mid morning snack. If you put all 3 racks in the oven, you need to rotate them one because they dry at different rates.
