These casings are pre-flushed and packed in a brine solution and are ready for immediate use. Keep refrigerated, use within three to four months. The inbred mahogany color will help shorten your smoke cycle which saves you time and money. Generally used for bratwurst, knockwurst, and Italian sausage. (1 lb. of meat uses approximately 2 feet of casings). Stuffing capacity per hank: approx. 115 lbs.
