Ground beef jerky December 15, 2017

Wow, for making smaller batches of ground beef jerky this is the ticket. Mix, cure, roll it out-oven, dehydrate, smoke- this is pretty quick and uniform.

Wind River jerky mold October 19, 2016
Reviewer: Bryan Crutchley from Redmond, OR United States
Well, I've waited till i had used this a few times, to comment. The mold came with no instructions or tips! Nothing on line either.

I mixed the lean beef and my spice etc. Pressed into the molds and covered with plastic wrap rolled both directions till excess spilled over.
Placed in freezer for 30 minutes.
Used a wide flexible knife to extract the meat and place on dehumidifier tray. 8 hr.s and 10 minutes at 280 in the oven
Issues: it slides all over on the countertop. You'll need to place towels or clamp it down to make it stay put. Mine is warped.
I'd send it back but not cost effective.
