Description
 

Used in processing semi-dry cured and dry-cured sausages. A sweetener that's 70% as sweet as regular sugar. A nutrient for lactic acid organisms that help in fermentation, giving the tangy flavor. Dextrose is heavier than meat and forces itself into the cells of the meat.

Use 2-5 Tb. powdered dextrose per 10 lbs. of meat. 5 lbs. powdered dextrose will process approximately 680 lbs. of meat

I have used this and many other salami and sausage products from The Sausage Maker. I am able to produce better salami than I find at the store. I have also taught 7 or 8 of my friends how to make salami also.

Your shipment of my order was prompt but the shipping cost more than the item itself and had I known prior to that purchase that shipping would be free on orders over $50 I would have bought more of that product. You would have had a bigger sale and we both would have been happy.
