20-1031 Novus Digital Temperature Controller February 25, 2018

Do Not Buy this Temp Controller w/ Temp Probe without a VERY detailed schematic from SausageMaker for every required wire & connection !
The product is being sold as a digital temperature controller for smokers; I expected  it to be complete & "plug & play" for my SausageMaker Smoker.

It is not even a kit.  (Male AC pigtail, Female AC pigtail, 2 jumper wires)
It is NOT complete.
The directions will NOT allow you to make it work.
The instructions do NOT even state that there is a flip-up cover to access the screws for making connections !

I had to go to a large Electrical Contractor Supply store for help.
It took 2 of the owners an hour of internet exploring and experimentation to even get it started to provide 120 V power to the "output" ! ! !

The controller has "Output" connections labeled.  These are NOT AC power connections; they are only a switch continuity closure; you need an AC jumper to actually get AC "Output".

Not worth the money October 4, 2016

This temperature controller to hard to program the instructions book is very incomplete and hard to understand,  I guess that you have to be an engineer in programing to understand it.
Not worth the $ I went back to my old analog system.
