24" long and approximately 2-3/8" when stuffed. This casing is made for use with dry-cured sausages in particular as it contains a protein coating on the inside that gives them the ability to cling to the meat as it is drying. Soak 10-30 minutes in tap water before using. Not edible. Stuffing capacity: approx. 2 1/2 lbs.

-Standard delivery arrived within 4 days of placing order.
-Product delivered was equal to online description.
-Protein lined clings to meat as it shrinks, but is still easy to remove when sausage is cooled.  
-Strong casing, was able to pack tightly with drum/piston type stuffer.
-Made 110 lbs of venison summer sausage, pre-tied string never came loose.
-Tried the mahogany but prefer the clear, allows color and texture of sausage to display through casing.
-Takes smoke to some degree, again as described.
-Will reorder.
